On Saturday, February 3, from 10 AM to 3 PM, Union Depot will be transformed into Doggie Depot, the bark of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. There will be pet-friendly vendors for shopping, rescues for adopting, the crowning of the St. Paul Winter Carnival’s Canine King Boreas and Canine Queen of Snows at 11 AM and tons more fun!
Doggie Depot 2024 is FREE and open to the public, and there’s plenty of on-site parking. No tickets are required, so leash up your pup and join us for this furbulous event inside the Waiting Room at Union Depot!

The Dog Days of Summer are upon us, and Westonka Community & Commerce is excited to announce that Dog Days Westonka 2023 will be taking place on Saturday, August 12, 2023. The event will once again be held at Surfside Park in Mound, which is located at 2670 Commerce Blvd.
The event goes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include a pet expo with a wide variety of pet products, services, and activities. The fun kicks off with the annual pet parade where pets and their people are invited to show up in costume. There will also be a cutest puppy contest, paddle-boarding with your dog demonstrations, Police Dog demonstration by Officer Eric and K9 Mattis from the Minnetonka Police Dept, food trucks, and music provided by Tom Burnevik of “TomTyme”.
Plus, there are several new attractions to check out. “Splash for Cash” is taking the summer off due to early poor water conditions. Instead, dogs will be able to sniff out prizes in the “Doggy Dune Dig.” Also new this year, a kitty corner dedicated to cat related products and services. Justin M. Anderson, the author of “Saving Stripes: A Kitty’s Story,” will be at the festival all day signing books.

Union Depot is going to the dogs for this year’s Doggie Depot! The event kicks off on Saturday, February 4 at 10 AM. Start the day with a doga session (dog yoga) taught by Studio 9-to-5. Shop local pet vendors in the Waiting Room and celebrate the grand crowning ceremony of the 2023 Saint Paul Winter Carnival Canine King & Queen with the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Royal Family.

Mark your human’s calendar for New Brighton Parks and Recreation's barkin' awesome and furrtastic dog event: Tails on the Trails! Take your pup for a walk on the trails of Hansen Park while you visit company and non-profit vendor booths, see special dog-related demonstrations and let your leashed pup socialize with other neighborhood friends. No pup? No problem! There will be plenty of fun for the whole family. While there will be treats to purchase for your four-legged friend, food trucks will be available for the rest of us. This event is free to attend, but there may be a fee associated with some activities.

Linden Hills Woofstock is a family-friendly tradition for people and their pooches! It is open to the public and allows for a unique shopping experience featuring products specifically geared towards pets and their owners. This event is a platform for animal nonprofits to share their stories. Entertainment includes both live music and doggy specific programming, featuring pet demos and a dog fashion show! This community event is rounded out with local artisans and food trucks creating an experience with something for everyone.

This is always such a good event. Lots of dog vendors with pet cloths, crafts, bakery items for pets, other rescues and kiddie pools of water for dogs to cool off and a couple of food vendors. And it is a good event to meet our volunteers and get connected with each other. You and your dog/s are welcome to sit in our booth or to wander and take in the sights.
